Lawton Community Corrections Center

Facility Overview

Lawton Community Corrections Center, an all male facility, opened in April 1973 and is located in southwest Lawton.

LCCC, like ODOC's other community corrections centers, opened as the agency was attempting to smooth the transition for inmates discharging from prison.

The facility was established with the goal of providing the inmates with a gradual reentry process that would carry over to release/discharge and address employment, housing, pro-social associates and transportation.

Contacting an Inmate

Inmates can receive mail any time. Include in the address their name, DOC number and housing assignment if known.

Example:  LCCC
Inmate’s name, number and housing assignment (if known)
                   605 Southwest Coombs Road
                   Lawton, OK 73501-8294

Visitation hours vary by each facility, but an inmate's security level dictates how many hours he or she may visit with approved visitors.

Important Note:

All inmate visitors must submit a “Visitor Request Form." You can download a copy here, or request one from the facility.

Background checks will be completed on everyone 18 or older. The inmate will notify you when the process is complete. The approval process takes approximately 8 weeks once the Visitor Request Form has been returned to LCCC.

Saturdays and Sundays:

10:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.

State Holidays:

10:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. - Open visit

Additional visitation rules may be found here.
