What Law Enforcement Personnel Need to Know about Coronavirus Disease

First Responder Free and Discount List

Many businesses recognize those working in corrections as “First Responders,” especially during this pandemic. As such, these businesses wish to express their gratitude by offering free or discounted services and/or merchandise.

Qualifications and definitions of “First Responder” may vary with individual offers. And some businesses are extending the offer to all government employees.

You should verify your qualifications with the business or organization offering the discounts. At a minimum, businesses will ask to see your employee identification card for verification of your employment.

Currently Oklahoma City-County Health Department has 4 lines to receive calls from the community, partners, etc. regarding COVID-19 questions. The information line is staffed by RNs and the hours of operation are 8 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

The phone number is 405-425-4489. This line can be used by employees and their family members.
