Office of the Inspector General


The Inspector General serves as ODOC’s chief law enforcement officer, managing, directing and supervising Investigations, Criminal Interdictions, Intelligence, Fugitive Apprehensions, and Law Enforcement Communications. The Inspector General advises ODOC’s Director and provides analysis on security threats and inmate illegal activity intelligence. The Inspector General also liaises with other local, county, state, and federal law enforcement agencies.

The Inspector General supervises ODOC’s Employee Rights and Relations Unit. The Employees Rights and Relations Unit serves the employees of the agency by providing technical expertise, knowledge, support and assistance in adherence to employment related rules/regulations, policies, procedures, laws, and in agency practices.

In compliance with the reporting requirements of 74 O.S. 3106.4[C], this agency is making known that it stores name, birth date, place of birth, mother’s maiden name, biometric records, Social Security number, official state or government issued driver license or identification number, alien registration number, government passport number, and employer or taxpayer identification numbers.   The personally identifiable data is stored both electronically and in confidential paper files.  The data is shared in compliance with court orders and agreements with other government bodies.
