  • ODOC locks down prisons statewide due to inmate fights

    OKLAHOMA CITY -- Correctional facilities across the state are on lockdown tonight in response to several inmate fights at a half dozen prisons over the weekend. Saturday, inmates at Northeast Oklahoma Correctional Center in Vinita began fighting.     Update on NOCC walkaway Ricky Bauders

    VINITA, Okla. – Oklahoma Department of Corrections staff and area law enforcement have been searching 24-7 since Ricky Bauders walked away from Northeast Oklahoma Correctional Center on Tuesday. Searchers last saw Bauders, 52, near the minimum-security prison for men at around 7:40 a.m. Wednesday.   Read More...

    ODOC searching for Northeast Oklahoma Correctional Center walkaway

    VINITA, Okla. -- An inmate walked away from minimum-security Northeast Oklahoma Correctional Center on Tuesday. Facility security staff and Oklahoma Department of Corrections Office of Fugitive Apprehension and Investigations agents were searching for Ricky Bauders. He was last seen running west away from the prison around 6 p.m. Bauders, 52, is described as 5-feet 9-inches tall, weighing about 189 pounds.   Read More...
