LT. Brad Morris recognized for outstanding contributions to DOC

HODGEN, Okla. -- Lt. Brad Morris’ commitment to serving at Jim E. Hamilton Correctional Center has helped foster a culture of teamwork and excellence, enabling staff to thrive as he assists his superiors in managing the facility efficiently.

Always eager to broaden his responsibilities, he fills in as acting Chief of Security when needed and conduct inmate misconduct investigations and hearings. His detail-oriented approach also makes him an excellent contraband/evidence officer at JEHCC, as well as the facility’s Correctional Emergency Response Team Commander, a position he has held since 2016. During this time, he has coordinated the recapture of eight inmates who escaped the facility.

Lt. Morris is an invaluable asset to this agency not the least of which for his willingness to learn and teach others throughout his 19-year-long career keeping Oklahomans safe.
