Lawton Community Corrections Center, an all male facility, opened in April 1973 and is located in southwestern Lawton.
LCCC, like ODOC's other community corrections centers, opened as the agency was attempting to smooth the transition for inmates discharging from prison.
Statistical data supported the presumption that inmates released with meaningful employment, adequate transportation, a home and pro-social associates were less likely to re-offend. The facility was established with the goal of providing the inmates with a gradual reentry process that would carry over to release/discharge and address those issues.

Visitation hours vary by each facility, but an inmate's security level dictates how many hours he or she may visit with approved visitors.
All inmate visitors must submit a “Visitor Request Form." You can download a copy here, or request one from the facility.
Background checks will be completed on everyone 18 or older. The inmate will notify you when the process is complete. The approval process takes approximately 8 weeks once the Visitor Request Form has been returned to LCCC.
Saturdays and Sundays:
10:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
10:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. - Open visit
