Fugitive Apprehensions

Overview

The Fugitive Apprehension Division is responsible for the investigation and apprehension of escapees and walkaways from Oklahoma Department of Corrections facilities and coordinate the extradition of out-of-state escapees, parole violators, and violent offenders. Additionally, the Fugitive Apprehension Division partners with federal, state, tribal, and local law enforcement agencies in investigations to apprehend absconders and currently has several agents assigned to the US Marshals Task Force.
